Stephanie McCready

Stephanie McCreadyStephanie combines lifelong passions for the environment and printmaking to convey nature’s fragile beauty and ephemerality. She draws inspiration from ever-changing seasons and cycles to depict animals, plants and transient natural scenes in her works.

Stephanie enjoys experimenting with various printmaking techniques and uses drypoint, etching, and linocut plates to produce works with fine details. She also uses collagraph plates, constructed with found objects and common materials, to produce textural effects. Stephanie is currently exploring the incorporation of design elements in her works.
