My printmaking practice derives largely from my experience of the natural world and the places in which I have travelled.

I often use my own photographs, in conjunction with drawing and abstraction, as the basis of expressing the feelings and fragments of memory these places evoke.
Photosensitive etching, monotype, etching and aquatinting are my preferred modes of working but I am always open to experimentation and exploration of other techniques.
I enjoy revisiting images and finding ways to expand or enhance what I have created before.
I also enjoy the unpredictable results which printmaking can present and the challenge of making those results work towards my intentions.

I have attended classes at Hazelhurst Regional Gallery over many years and have exhibited as part of a group exhibition: “Printed Matter”. I have sold my work through the gallery.
