Originally practicing as an oil painter, I discovered my affinity for printmaking in 2004. I enjoy the iterative layering of detail and colour enabled by the printmaking process as I explore our connection to the natural environment.

Perspective
My printmaking practice is primarily in intaglio techniques including zinc and copper plate etchings, photopolymer etching, collagraph, and drypoint. My works typically begin with a sketch or photograph where I am observing the macro and micro patterns in nature and noticing the subtle colours that surround us.
