Jennifer Carter

I have always been attracted to creating artwork. My mother was an accomplished artist, and I was surrounded by art from a young age. 

I taught in Primary Education and Special Education, where I shared my passion for art with my students. I enjoyed introducing them to a wide range of artistic styles and techniques in a variety of mediums to produce artworks. 

Since retiring, I have been able to spend more time pursuing and developing my skills in creating paintings (acrylic and watercolour), collages, mixed media and printing.

I am greatly influenced by colour, composition and texture when creating these artworks. Each art-form requires a different approach and technique, and I enjoy the challenge of exploring new techniques.
