Bunty has worked in the art industry for over 50 years, predominantly in ceramics. She also draws, paints and sculpts and recently rediscovered printmaking.
The variation in different printmaking techniques fascinates her, particularly the process of discovery, inherent in the medium, involved in transferring imagination and observation into reality.
Her print work focuses on a variety of subjects, from Australian flora and fauna to interpretations of the human condition. Selected works are deeply cathartic, others observational, reflecting a fascination with nature.
