Stephanie translates her experiences in local bushland primarily through the medium of linocut printmaking.
Inspired through regular immersion in an ever-changing and beautiful landscape, she imparts each work with a sense of movement and energy created with flowing linework weaving through each scene. Lines also connect all forms and highlight the interdependence of all plants and animals with the natural environment.
Stephanie forms her compositions by combining her photographic images with drawing.
She works in both black/white and colour. Colour is applied through successive printed layers of oil-based ink and watercolour paint.
