Rosalie Duligal

My printmaking involves a lot of experimenting with mezzotints, monoprints, aquatints and linocuts.

At the moment I am working on ‘light and shade’ so, a whole new body of work is emerging. Both the botanical and the architectural lend themselves very well to lino and I am discovering new ways to interpret the visual world.

My art practice has encompassed printmaking for many years. I have done a residency in France where I discovered the practice of monoprinting to be highly desirable and I also worked at Cicada Press where I did many prints for high profile artists, alongside Michael Kempson, working many long hours reaching for perfection.

It has been a wonderful experience belonging to the Southern Printmakers Association for my ninth year.

I keep a keen interest in experimenting and have been successful in producing new pleasing images with unorthodox mediums such as recycled plastics, tetra packs, monoprinting with oils paints, and many other methods.
