Julie Holohan

Julie writes:
So much of the manufacturing industry in Australia has vanished over time unable to compete with lower wages in other countries. I don’t think personally that losing that industry is a good thing. So I focused my attention on the concept of the products of industry and so my work of a bridge and its structure and an aqueduct spanning a park in the Lilyfield/ Annandale area.
Julie will discuss her concepts and the techniques of both lino and woodcut.
Rosalie Duligal

Rosalie Duligal, Ships in the Night, tetra pak and foiling
Rosalie is a printmaker who enjoys experimenting and exploring what can be achieved with very little. She loves to paper make and also eco dye papers, combining these with the fundamentals of printing, i.e. lino cutting, etching and other methods.
She will be showing samples and talking about foil and tetra pak printing; how one can get an image by using things we usually throw away. In her creative practice she looks for that mystical image that can achieved from a simple tetra pak foil.
We look forward to seeing you there.
