‘Bridging time and place’ an exhibition by Julie Holohan

3-25 August 2019, Dragon’s Lair Gallery, Hurstville Museum & Gallery

Bridging time and place showcases linocuts and paintings that tell the story of coral encrusted pottery, created in China in the year 830. The pottery, which was salvaged from a shipwreck in 1998 connects different times, countries and cultures.

Ruth Burgess- Artist Talk – 20th May 2016

Ruth gave a fantastic talk, discussing  wood engraving and woodcuts and insights from her travels in China on cultural exchange to work with woodcut artists in China. We were fortunate to see a selection of her work including wood engraving blocks and prints, wood blocks and a demonstration of her woodblock technique. Thank you Ruth.
