Anne Baxter

Anne-Baxter-2-19Jul2013My early training was in a large Industrial Drawing Office where one learns to be very precise.

Studied Fine Arts at Gymea College of T.A.F.E. and E.S.T.C (National Arts School) majoring in printmaking. Teacher of printmaking at St.George and Gymea Colleges of T.A.F.E. from 1980 to 1994.

I am a traditional printmaker – editioning is an important process in this discipline. I like to plan my work to the last detail.

The beauty of the Australian bush flowers and the landscape have been an inspiration for many of my works, using all printmaking techniques to achieve the required results.

Foundation Member of the Southern Printmakers Association – Past President, Secretary and Treasurer spanning 30 years of service.
